Why Green lense?

so this is the blog where you can enjoy topics such as goth-related issues, all forms of arts - also books and movies, and on top of all random crossing thoughts --but those are always the best aren't they? :)

so why Green lense?

I wanted to point out that all topics in this blog are seen from a rather "weird" perspective.. and maybe not something you hear or read often.. it's seen from a different point of view.. a green point of view.. from a green lense!

enjoy my blog :)

Feng Shui is Awesome!!

The term Feng Shui literally translates as "wind-water" in English.. which according to the Chinese culture, symbolically means heaven and earth; heaven being "wind" and earth being "water"
But that's not why it's so awesome..
Feng Shui is an amazing type of art, some consider it science, other take the matter spiritually.. but either way, i see it as an amazing "Art"

How it functions:

Understanding nature, and combining the energies of the world, and balancing them to create a concentration of a specific energy, directing it, into what we want it to be. good or bad.

There are two types of Feng Shui ; a good one-which is good fortune or good luck, and a bad one-which is misfortune or bad luck.

It's often used in architecture, in houses and furniture, but that doesn't mean it's all it is! It can also be used in photography; like a picture that brings good energy. Can be used in the good marketing of materiel for a new business, Or even used to attract wealth and love into our lives.

This art is so detailed into the smallest points that you might not find them important! But in Feng Shui details are the key. Things like the color of your front door, whether there's a tree or shoes on the entrance of your home blocking the good energy from entering your house, or if your front door is aligned with your back door so the good energy can easily escape from your home.
It's all about keeping the space around your home free of things you don't like. keeping only items and things you love. If something doesn't make you feel good, makes you happy, you probably need to get rid of it, for example, an old rusty couch, or an art-piece that you don't like, or even items that remind you of something bad or sad.
Good, fresh Shui energy expresses itself in a clean space, fresh air, plenty of good light, and happy, meaningful energy as expressed in any decor items in your house.
Bad Feng Shui is mostly things that block good energy, like a stairway right in front of the entrance door, instead have a mirror face your door to look right back to the entrance and reflect good energy to anyone entering the house.
Get rid of your clutter, clear out your closets, your basement, your garage, and once these areas are clean, do not let them accumulate more clutter.

Colors have a big role too!!

This is the basic form of color interpretation of Feng Shui. But here's a more detailed one of each color -->

Red
Associated with the fire element, red is the color of passion, excitement and anger. It's the most visible color, and it attracts attention. Use red when you want an energy boost, a more passionate love life (although don't paint your whole bedroom red, you'll never get any sleep) avoid red in places that gets a lot of sunlight and where arguments are likely to break out.

Orange
A combination of optimistic yellow and passionate red, orange draws people together in the spirit of harmony, makes people express their feelings. Use orange whenever you have group gatherings, a kitchen or a living room when you're blended with family. Avoid orange if you need to develop self-confidence or want to express creativity.

Yellow
Bright yellow boosts morale and lends cheer. Like the sun, yellow is life-giving and energizing. Use it wherever you want to lift your spirit or find clarity, a great color for study. Stay away from yellow if you're concerned with getting old before your time, since yellow is symbolic of aging. On the other hand, if you suffer from depression or health setbacks, use a muted tone of yellow like honey or goldenrod.

Green
Associated with the wood element, green is the color of growth. Use it wherever you want inspiration, adventure and change, don't use it for an exercise room or library, also avoid green if you have trouble focusing, also avoid it if you're struggling from cancer.

Blue
Linked with sky and ocean, blue is the color of calm and relaxation. Helps ease anxiety, use it of you seek relaxation, or want to be yourself, like a bathroom. Stay away form blue if you have a hard time connecting with people or prone to depression.

Purple
Symbolic of royalty, it's the color of abundance, wealth and power. Use it where you feel deficient or insecure. it's also linked with spirituality, perfect for meditation. Stay away from purple if you are apt to fantasy or escapism.

Pink
A combination of intimate white and passionate red, pink is the color or romance. Use pink where you want to feel loved, nurtured and cherished, perfect for bedrooms. Salmon or peach, are the perfect shades of pink for this matter.

Brown
Associated with earth, brown is stability. makes us feel safe, protected and secure, use it where you want to foster healthy relationships. Stay away from brown if you have difficulty starting projects or feel like you're stuck.

Gray
A blend of intense white and absorbing black, gray is transition. ideal for waiting rooms and hallways. stay away from grey if you want to settle.

Black
Absorbing black invites exploration and promotes mystery, best used to promote confidence and independence, use it in any space you want to assert your power, like an office, although avoid it if you tend to isolated yourself from others.

White
Associated with the metal element, white is the color or focus, intensity and purity, promotes creativity, as white is like a blank canvas, it's a good color for and art studio. also if you're suffering from cancer, white is a good color as it inhibits the growth of cells. Stay away from it of you are overly critical or have trouble expressing affection.

I love Feng Shui, it's awesome.. consider it, use it.. :)
